Anglo-Zulu Battlefields

Just outside the quite town of Greytown lies Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift. These sites date back to 1879 and are the first major encounters between the British and Zulu nations. Hear and relive the battle of all those years ago where the Zulu’s with inferior weapons defeated and badly commanded British force. Even an opportunity to see the original ‘Kop’ where Liverpool’s stand in Anfield, gets its name from! Light lunch will be included.

This is a full day tour to a World Heritage Site, iSimangaliso Wetland Park. It spans 280km of protected coastline and 3280 km sq of natural ecosystems. Due to such a combination of unique ecosystems and biodiversity in a relative small area, it has amazing natural beauty. There will be a light lunch served and includes a boat ride into the estuary. This can be done as a day tour with Hluhluwe Umfolozi.

Found in the World Heritage Site of UKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park, Giants Castle has amazing vistas and is famed for its prehistoric San Rock painting. Hiking through the home of Eland and the Bearded Vulture this Sandstone caves are very easily accessible. A Mecca for Hiking, Mountain Climbing, Biking, Trout Fishing and adventure sport this placed has been named after the peaks resemble a ‘Sleeping Gaint’. A light lunch is included.

Sani Pass

Out of this World off-road experience that takes you to the Highest Pub in Africa at 2873m above sea level. This pass joins the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho and South Africa. Starting at 1544m above sea level and climbing to 2876m above sea level in 9km, this is a must especially for off-road fanatics. The Pub does have basic accommodation if you wish to spend the night as there are amazing views from the top. Or we return the same evening, lights snacks will be provided.
